The North Face Endurance Challenge 50 Mile Course
The 2016 North Face Endurance Challenge California takes place on December 3rd, 2016 in the Marin Headlands just outside San Francisco, CA.  There are various distances from 5K to 50 miles. I will be participating in the 50 mile race. 

While the race occurs near sea level along the beautiful California coast, it features drastic elevation changes over the course of the 50 mile race. The total elevation gain on the course is 11,175 feet. The course terrain combines fast-paced dirt trail with portions of technical single track overlooking the Pacific Ocean with occasional glimpses of the Golden Gate Bridge.

My Training Plan

Below is my training plan that I was supposed to follow. Note that I do not have any rest days as I am currently two plus years into a "Run Streak" of running at least one mile per day.

If you are wondering how closely I followed the plan, I was rather lazy and I am woefully unprepared physically but that won't stop me from giving it a go. It will definitely be a mental challenge as much as a physical challenge.
